The Problem: Language used today has evolved in ways that are problematic, a large majority of society is uninformed on the proper terms to use in order to be respectful of everyone.
The Solution: Create an online app for the Calgary Cultural Mosaic Foundation (CCMF) that uses high accessibility and can be easily shared. Thoughtfully inform our community on the proper ways to use language. Design and lead another junior designer in designing an accompanying editorial zine, that goes into each category of terms more in depth, printed and distributed in downtown Calgary.
Key Contributions: Conceptualized a strategy, and delivered on digital and printed graphics with an 'abrasive' theme which mirrors the language used by many today. The achieved goal was to disrupt, inform, and re-direct others into using an all-inclusive language in our day to day.
The Impact: Creative Direction, User Experience, Wire-framing, App Design (Using Google Slides), Editorial-Zine Design for the Language Glossary
